 Prophetess Syokimau INTRODUCTION  In the Kamba language (Kikamba), the prefix “Syo-” is often used to mean “of”, “belonging to”, or “associated with” something. It usually shows possession, origin, or relationship — especially in names or places. Examples: 1. Syokimau → “The one from Kimau” or “belonging to Kimau.” “Syo” = of/from “Kimau” = a person’s name → So, “Syokimau” means “woman of Kimau” or “Kimau’s wife.” 2. Syokau → “The one from Kau.” 3. Syovatha → “Of Vatha” (belonging to or from Vatha). Who was Syokimua? Syokimau was a legendary Kamba prophetess from precolonial Kenya — one of the most famous seers in Kamba history. Pastor Ezekiel Odero Arrested

  Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New International Life Church, Kilifi, was arrested on Thursday, April 27, on accusations of being pastor   Paul Mackenzie's accomplice . Speaking at a press briefing, Coast Regional Commissioner Onyancha confirmed the arrest and affirmed that Odero's church was closed. "This morning we have arrested Pastor Ezekiel Odero for allegations of the deaths that have been occurring at his premises and reported in various media institutions.  "We have also taken action and closed the prayer centre. South African Rapper AKA Short Dead in Durban

AKA Award-winning rapper Kiernan Forbes, popularly known as AKA is dead. According to News24, the 35-year-old rapper was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road on Friday night, which was his brithday. A first responder at the scene, who spoke on condition of anonymity, Forbes was shot while standing on the pavement when gunfire rang out shortly after 10 PM.  At  the time of his death, AKA was standing outside the Wish Restaurant when he was shot. As reported by News24, two unknown cars are believed to have opened fire just before 10pm. KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda confirmed that a "well-known rapper" was gunned down in Florida Road, Durban on Friday evening just after 10 PM. "I can confirm that two men were killed and one of them is a well-known rapper. KCSE 2022 Results Out, How to Check for your results.

  Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu on Friday, January 20, released the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results. Speaking at Mtihani House, the CS announced that parents, teachers and candidates would access their examination results after he had made the speech. The results, he stated could be accessed through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) portal and SMS. Education CS Ezekiel Machogu announcing the Form One Placement at KICD on January 16, 2023. KNEC SMS  Machogu noted that one would be required to send the student's details - index number- accompanied with the initials KCSE to  20076 . The KCSE initials should be capitalised.   He announced that the exams were carried out under the highest academic standards  The 2022 KCPE involved 28,408 center managers, 28,727 supervisors, 74,990 invigilators, 5,647 examiners and over 1.2 million candidates. Amidst all the excitement, parents, guardians, and other interested Kenyans can access the results through  the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website , SMS platforms, the county education offices, and their respective schools.
